Over The Edge Radio Archive (Seeland 031). Negativland's live mix radio show "Over The Edge" has been the longest-running block of free-form audio collage in radio history. With Negativland's Don Joyce at the helm, the weekly show was broadcast from KPFA FM in Berkeley California from 1981 to 2015. Irdial is a near-seminal techno label, originally formed in the UK back in 1988 to release 12" vinyl, and which decided to release electronic versions of much of its CD and vinyl back-catalogue for free on the Net back in 1999. Some of its most famous artists include Anthony Manning, Aqua Regia, Neuropolitique, Luke Slater, and Beautyon, and releases from the label have been used in Cameron Crowe's 'Vanilla Sky' and on seminal UK satirical TV show 'Brass Eye'. All of Irdial's releases here...

This collection is a compilation of underground/independently-released cassette tapes from the days when the audio cassette was the standard method of music sharing... generally the mid-eighties through early-nineties. The material represented includes tape experimentation, industrial, avant-garde, indy, rock, diy, subvertainment and auto-hypnotic materials. Much of this material defies category, and has therefore not been given one. The bulk of the tapes in this library were donated to the...
